Congratulations to our gorgeous Full-Time student Avalon Roberts (16) who has accepted a place at the Ballet Academy of the University of Music and Theater Munich, Germany 🌟

Avalon has trained at ABDA for the past two years and we are super proud of the progress she has made in this time.
We acknowledge Avalons former teacher Danielle Williams who laid the foundations on which we built.

YAGP Finals 2026 - Final Days: Gala, Awards & Scholarship Classes 🌟
The last two days have been jam-packed with excitement and celebrations!

We were wowed by a star-studded Gala Performance including Principal dancers from ABT, SF Ballet, Dutch National Ballet and Houston Ballet, followed by a Gala Reception for Miss Amanda to exchange with the directors, teachers and professionals from across the world.
The girls danced in the Grand Défilé to open the Gala, which was mind-blowing!🌟
Our beautiful Sophie Simonds (14) was invite to the Junior Scholarship Callback Class where she had another chance to shine 💫

We also squeezed in a little trip to the Johnson Space Center, which was very cool 🚀

Such an incredible experience for our amazing girls, being 3 of the 8 dancers representing Australia here on the global stage - we are SO proud of them!! 🧡

We are so proud of our stunning Full-Time student Frances Ng (16) who danced so beautifully in the Senior Final Round of the YAGP 2026 Finals 🌟
The standard of all dancers was extraordinarily high - what an inspiration to be amongst the worlds best students and teachers, not to mention all the school and company directors here this week 🌟

YAGP Finals 2026 - Day 5:
After a Classical Technique Class with Tadeusz Matacz (former director the John Cranko Schule Stuttgart), Frances presented her Contemporary solo on stage - and was mesmerising!🌟
Meanwhile Sophie and Stella took a Classical Technique class with Jason Beechey (Director of the Tanzakademie Zurich).
All 3 girls had Défilé rehearsals until 9pm, and then we received the exciting news that Frances had made the Senior Final Round!

It was Frances’ turn to take the Scholarship Class on stage yesterday with all the Directors in attendance 🌟
Sophie and Stella loved their Classical Technique class with Elisa Cabrera (Director of the John Cranko School Stuttgart), and they then presented their Contemporary solos beautifully on stage last night 🌟

Today was a big day for our girls!
Sophie and Stella presented themselves beautifully in their Scholarship Class on stage, with all the Directors in attendance, Frances took a Classical Technique class with Julie Kent, and following some studio time with Miss Amanda, all three girls performed their Classical Repertoire variations on the giant stage here in Houston 🌟
We are so proud of how the girls danced under the pressure of such a huge stage and event 🧡

YAGP Finals 2026 - Day 1:
Our beautiful Full-Time students Sophie Simonds (14), Stella Jackson (15) and Frances Ng (16) have begun their YAGP adventure in Houston USA 🌟🇺🇸
All three girls took a Classical technique class today: Sophie and Stella with Kenta Kura (Director of K-Ballet Academy in Tokyo), and Frances with Julie Kent (Co-Artistic Director of Houston Ballet) - such inspiring industry experts!
The girls finished the day with rehearsals for the Grand Défilé 🌟
Miss Amanda also had the wonderful opportunity to watch ABDA graduate Aureoline in her morning class, as she is now completing her first year in Pro1 at the Houston Ballet Academy 🧡
