After an exciting career as a professional classical dancer in Europe, I couldn’t wait to start sharing my knowledge, international experience and passion for dance, especially classical ballet, with dedicated students.
Since the humble beginnings with only a handful of students in a local church hall, our academy has grown into one of the leading classical ballet schools in Australia.
We specialise in classical ballet based on the Russian Vaganova method, offering the ACB (Australian Conservatoire of Ballet) training and assessment program, as part of our Elite Training Programs.
Our academy offers the comprehensive training required for young dancers to excel in classical ballet and contemporary dance, providing our students with the necessary attributes and qualities to pursue a career in dance.
Students are accepted by audition only, based on potential for classical ballet, dedication and suitability for our comprehensive training program.
All of our teachers are former professionals with both international performance and extensive teaching experience in their respective fields, and believe in the careful training, guiding and nurturing of each student to achieve their individual goals.
Located near private schools and Southport bus/tram lines, the ABDA premises boasts 3 purpose-built, spacious studios fitted with tarkett floors and wall-to-wall mirrors, a study room, large dressing room, student lounge/kitchen, and a professional photographic studio.
